Creating Spiritual Autobiographies in Partnership
with Incarcerated Women:

A Lehigh Valley Monthly Meeting Project

In the spring and early summer of 2022, several Lehigh Valley members and attenders participated in the writing of spiritual autobiographies, drawing on exercises in Dan Wakefield's book The Story of Your Life: Writing a Spiritual Autobiography. In addition, they shared poems, drawings, and portions of their autobiographies with incarcerated women at Pennsylvania's Muncy State Correctional Institution, communicating via U.S. Mail and/or the prison messaging system, and invited their partners to produce and share similar work.
